Dragonwilds:Icthlarin

Template:ExternalTemplate:Infobox NPCIcthlarin is the Menaphite god of the dead, son of Template:RSL and Dragonwilds:Elidinis, and one of the four major gods of the Template:RSL. He is first mentioned by Death on several occasions during Dragonwilds:Withering Heights, and later appears within Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands, within the clan Alcarrid in Dragonwilds:Alcarrid Oasis. He requests that the Adventurer(s) help gain each of the garou tribes trust so that he could repair his mother's mirror, so that the lair of Fuzan could be accessed.

History

Pre-Ashenfall

Icthlarin was originally a jackal from the Template:RSL who, along with his sister Template:RSL, were given divinity by their mother, Dragonwilds:Elidinis and father Template:RSL. Icthlarin and his sister would be worshipped as gods, and adopted by their parents as children, instead of pets as they were originally. After sometime as a god, his father had saw how much him and Amascut have been boasting their power to the mortals, which made him worry for their well being, believing they needed to learn the responsibility to being a deity. So, he tasked them both with working within Dragonwilds:Gielinor's Template:RSL, Icthlarin would assist Death, the Grim Reaper of the plane and guide the souls he reaped towards their appointed afterlife, while Amascut would judge and see if they are worthy of rebirth. Although they assumed it was their punishment, the two would take their job seriously, in hope to make their father proud.

After the Template:RSL, when Tumeken blew himself in attempt to destroy the traitors in his ranks, Icthlarin had continued to uphold his task, even up to the Dragonwilds:Fifth Age, where he protected the soul from his sister, who became a devourer after their father's death, and mother's departure. In the Dragonwilds:Sixth Age, Icthlarin, with the help of the other desert pantheons and Template:RSL, they managed to Template:RSL chaos. Icthlarin would continue his task, but with more free time as his sister was no longer a threat to the souls of Gielinor.

Traveling to Ashenfall

Template:OccDur After finally being able to breath, Icthlarin noticed more souls coming into the underworld. He consulted with Death, who informs them of Ashenfall, Dragonwilds:Fuzan and the Adventurer(s) working to stop them. He decided to travel to Umbral Sands to meet the hero(es) there when they are ready. He would come to learn that his mother, Elidinis was there before departing from Gielinor. Seeing how the Moon Garou worshipped her, he would decide to help and learned of an artefact his mother had placed in their possession. With the Adventurer(s) aid, they managed to stop Fuzan and free the Moon Garou from his reign of terror.

• Icthlarin appearance in RuneScape: Dragonwilds leans towards it's Template:RSL appearance, with some Template:OSL inspiration within it.
  • One inspiration from Old School RuneScape is his skirt. Another his which hand holds his staff.
