Template:For Template:Infobox biome The savannaTemplate:Fn is an arid grassland Minecraft:biome, featuring scattered Minecraft:acacia and Minecraft:oak trees. It is populated by warm Minecraft:animal variants, Minecraft:llamas, and Minecraft:armadillos, and Minecraft:villages made of acacia wood are commonly found here.
Generation
Savannas generate in moderately high temperature zones at low humidity, meaning that they commonly border Minecraft:plains, Minecraft:forests, Minecraft:deserts, Minecraft:badlands, and Minecraft:mangrove swamps. They can also generate close to Minecraft:jungles but never border them. Near lower temperatures, the landscape can transition into Minecraft:sunflower plains and Minecraft:flower forests.
Savannas can generate at any type of terrain, however, in mountainous terrain on plateaus and slopes, they are replaced by Minecraft:savanna plateaus leading to Minecraft:stony peaks. Near swampland, they border their windswept variant instead.
Description
Minecraft:Acacias and small Minecraft:oaks are the two types of trees that grow here. As the savannas have arid climates, it never Minecraft:rains here and thus Minecraft:lightning can never naturally strike; however, mobs can still spawn during dry Minecraft:thunderstorms. Minecraft:Grass and Minecraft:leaves in the savanna take on an olive-green color, giving an impression of dryness.
The savanna is mostly flat with vast amounts of Minecraft:tall grass covering the surface. Minecraft:Dandelions and Minecraft:poppies are twice as common as in most other biomes. Minecraft:Villages generates in savannas, consisting mainly of terracotta, acacia Minecraft:logs, and Minecraft:planks. Minecraft:Pillager outposts may generate as well. Minecraft:Abandoned camps sometimes generate in savannas.Template:Upcoming
Farm Minecraft:animals spawn with their warm variants in savannas. Minecraft:Armadillos, Minecraft:donkeys, and Minecraft:horses can also spawn, as well as Minecraft:zombie horsemen during nighttime. Savannas are one of the few biomes where Minecraft:llamas can spawn.Template:Only
With Minecraft:Vibrant Visuals, savannas use warmish color grading that tints the environment more orange/yellow. The night sky is slightly brighter and moonlight appears more vibrant blue.
