Creative Mode is a type of world that allows players to play in a world without any restrictions. It allows the player to have unlimited resources, undetectable by any aggressive/passive monsters, and roam the map to build and explore. Players can still fall to their death whilst in Creative Mode, but will not sustain any negative status effects, such as Dragonwilds:Poison or Dragonwilds:Wither. The character also does not need to upkeep any Dragonwilds:hydration, Dragonwilds:sustenance, or Dragonwilds:rest, or otherwise experience interruptions to impede creatively expressing themself.
Starting a creative world
Players can choose the type of world upon opening the RuneScape: Dragonwilds Steam client. From here, players can create a world and select "Standard", "Custom" or "Creative". Players can create up to 8 character slots.
Creative world features
Building
- All building pieces will be unlocked.
- Buildings will not have any material costs.
- Players will have an infinite carry weight.
Crafting
- All crafting recipes will be unlocked.
- Crafting will not require materials.
Skills
- All Dragonwilds:skills will be maxed.
- Dragonwilds:Spells will not require Dragonwilds:runes or have cooldowns.
- Dragonwilds:Lodestones will not have rune costs.
Environment and survival
- Hunger, thirst, and endurance will always be full.
- No world events will spawn (e.g., Dragonwilds:dragon attacks and hunted events)
- No aggressive Dragonwilds:monsters will attack the player.
Stability
Stability is tied to the type of foundation players use in their building; the better the material, the higher players can build. In addition, players can toggle stability on or off when creating a world.
Settings
Building
Players can enable No Building Stability, where structures have no stability attribute, and players can build higher structural buildings. This setting is off by default.
Environment
Players can enable Friendly Fire, where players can attack each other. This setting is off by default.
