Generation
Taigas are frequently bordered by Minecraft:old growth taigas, Minecraft:forests, Minecraft:birch forests, Minecraft:snowy taigas, Minecraft:groves and Minecraft:swamps. They may also generate in the same temperature range as Minecraft:snowy plains and snowy taiga, with Minecraft:frozen rivers running through them;<ref>Template:Bug</ref> these taigas are almost guaranteed to have Minecraft:lush caves underground. Minecraft:Rainfall is common and changes to Minecraft:snowfall above the layer Y=160±8 within taigas due to the humid and cold climate.
