Template:Removed featureTemplate:UnobtainableTemplate:Infobox biome The taiga hills was a hills variant of the Minecraft:taiga that no longer generates since Minecraft:Caves & Cliffs: Part II, and was removed in Java Edition.
Description
Like all other hills biomes, taiga hills featured more elevated and hilly terrain, with sharper inclines and more overhangs than the regular taiga, but were identical to them in every other aspect. Minecraft:Villages and Minecraft:pillager outposts didn't generate in this biomeTemplate:Only, though Minecraft:wolves and Minecraft:foxes still spawned.
With Minecraft:Vibrant Visuals, taiga hills use a coolish humid volumetric fog setting, which slightly fades the distance in an orange tint. Taiga hills have coolish color grading tints the environment with a colder blue color, and cold sunlight which appears slightly brighter at dusk and dawn.
