Minecraft:Bedrock Edition guides/Armored Paws

This guide is a simplified overview of all non-experimental changes in the Minecraft:Armored Paws drop (Template:BE 1.20.80), which assumes at least some familiarity with the Minecraft:Bats and Pots drop (Bedrock Edition 1.20.50 to 1.20.73).

Minecraft:Badlands and Minecraft:savanna biomes.

Template:Xp (when killed by a Minecraft:player or tamed Minecraft:wolf)

Rolls up if it's hurt, confronted by an undead mob, or players who are sprinting, mounted, or on a vehicle. Drops a Minecraft:armadillo scute every 5 to 10 minutes. Can use a Minecraft:brush to also drop one armadillo scute, using its durability. Can be bred with Minecraft:spider eyes.

Minecraft:Spider & Minecraft:cave spider	Template:Animate	Will now run away from armadillos that are not rolled up.
Minecraft:Fox	Template:Animate	Now less likely to spawn in Groves than before.
Minecraft:Rabbit	Template:Animate	Now more likely to spawn in Groves than before
Minecraft:Wolf	Template:Animate	Received eight new variants, specific to the biome they are spawned in. Now spawns in Minecraft:sparse jungle, Minecraft:savanna plateau, and Minecraft:wooded badlands. Tamed wolves now have Template:Hp instead of Template:Hp, and no longer takes half damage from most environmental sources.

Minecraft:Armadillo scute	File:Armadillo Scute JE2 BE2.png	Obtained every 5-10 minutes by drops from Minecraft:armadillos, similar to Minecraft:chickens. Can also use a brush to drop an armadillo scute.	Can be used to craft Minecraft:wolf armor
Minecraft:Wolf armor	File:Wolf Armor (model) JE2 BE2.png		Protects wolves from damage taken from most sources, until it loses durability and breaks. Durability indicated by visible breakage on the armor. Can be removed from wolves by using Minecraft:shears. Can be repaired by using armadillo scutes. Can be dyed by using on a Minecraft:cauldron with dyed water.
Armadillo Minecraft:spawn egg	Template:Animate	Obtained from the creative inventory.	Spawns armadillo.
