Minecraft:Icicle

An icicle is a block that generates on the ceiling of Minecraft:ice caves. Icicles naturally form Minecraft:stalactites, which melt and subsequently fall if there is enough Minecraft:light nearby. They only generate on ceilings, but can also be placed on floors.

Icicles generate naturally hanging from the ceilings of Minecraft:ice caves.

Usage

Icicles come in two different forms, stalactites and stalagmites.

Stalactites

Stalactites are created when icicles are placed beneath a block. When exposed to enough light, they will begin to melt and subsequently fall, dealing damage to entities in their path.

Stalagmites

Stalagmites are created when icicles are placed on the ground.
