Minecraft:Windswept Savanna

Template:ForTemplate:Infobox biome The windswept savanna or savanna mutated is a shattered and mountainuous variant of Minecraft:savanna that generates in areas with high erosion close to Minecraft:swamps and other Minecraft:windswept biomes. The terrain consists of huge cliffs and floating islands covered with Minecraft:coarse dirt, Minecraft:stone, and the regular savanna vegetation.
Description
The extraordinarily rare windswept savanna variant generates in areas with high erosion and Minecraft:weirdness, as well as medium Minecraft:continentalness and temperate to high temperatures. It is full of extremely steep mountains, enormous overhangs, Minecraft:floating islands, and huge waterfalls and lavafalls, with higher and rougher terrain than the windswept hills biome, and can peak at Y=256. Acacia trees can peak up to Y=264. Large and deep lakes often form on the bases of the mountains.
Windswept savanna biomes can often generate standalone bordering other Minecraft:biomes that aren't just the default savanna, with these biomes usually being temperate or warm. Windswept savannas can't generate in regions with cold or snowy biomes which means that these biomes can be found in extreme terrain. Despite being a highland biome, the Minecraft:deep dark doesn’t generate under windswept savanna.
Farm animals spawn as warm variants in this biome. Armadillos, horses and donkeys still appear like in regular savannas, as do hostile Minecraft:zombie horses during the Minecraft:nighttime, making this the only windswept hills biome to contain them. In Minecraft:Bedrock Edition, llamas also live here.
The terrain is covered with a mixture of grass block patches and Minecraft:coarse dirt patches, with a large amount of exposed Minecraft:stones. Minecraft:Tall grass doesn't generate here Template:In. Villages and pillager outposts cannot generate in this biome.<ref>Template:Bug</ref>
The steep generated mountains make this variant almost unsuitable for shelter and even just exploring quite hazardous, due to the sharp cliffs often risking fatal fall damage if not above Minecraft:water. Additionally, the giant overhangs often reduce skylight on the terrain below them, not only enough to spawn Minecraft:hostile mobs in daylight, but to produce complete darkness similar to caves, further adding to the difficulty of this biome.
With Minecraft:Vibrant Visuals, windswept savannas use warmish atmospherics, lighting, and color grading similar to Minecraft:jungles, although they use default volumetric Minecraft:fog.
