Minecraft:Copper Armor

Template:Infobox item Copper armor is a type of Minecraft:armor made from Minecraft:copper ingots. It is the sixth strongest armor, between gold and leather.

Obtaining

Mob loot

In Minecraft:Normal and Minecraft:Hard difficulties, Minecraft:zombies, Minecraft:husks, Minecraft:skeletons, Minecraft:strays, and Minecraft:bogged have a chance to spawn with armor, with a 32.23% chance of it being copper armor. There is a 8.5% chance (9.5% with Minecraft:Looting I, 10.5% with Looting II and 11.5% with Looting III) for the mob to drop the armor they're wearing upon death. The dropped armor is usually badly damaged, and may be Minecraft:enchanted with enchantment levels 5-19.

Usage

Template:Main Wearing copper armor reduces damage taken from most damage types. When a full set of copper armor is worn, the set provides Template:Armor armor points.

Damage reduction

Template:Main Wearing armor reduces incoming damage according to two values: armor, and armor toughness. Each piece of armor provides a given armor and armor toughness value, and the values from each armor piece are added together when calculating damage reduction.

The strength of incoming damage also determines the damage reduction of worn armor, as armor does not protect in a linear fashion.
