15w36d is the twenty-second Minecraft:snapshot for Minecraft:Java Edition 1.9, released on September 4, 2015<ref>https://web.archive.org/web/0/https://www.mojang.com/2015/09/minecraft-snapshot-15w36a/</ref> to fix some bugs and crashes from the previous 15w36 snapshots, along with some balances and minor changes.

General

Minecraft:Attributes

• Armor protection is now an attribute (generic.armor), ranging from 0 (no protection) to 30.

• Each command block type now appears as a different color on Minecraft:maps.

Minecraft:Armor

• Removed armor durability decreasing defense points.
• Armor defense points are now shown in the tooltip.

Command format

General

• The player can now edit the offhand slot of Minecraft:mobs via Template:Cmd.
  • The item displays according to the dominant hand of the mob.

Gameplay

Minecraft:Enchanting

• Minecraft:Sharpness has been nerfed, as the buff in Minecraft:15w36a was mistakenly introduced due to a typo in the new damage formula.
• Each Sharpness level now adds Template:Hp damage to the base damage at level I and an additional Template:Hp for each additional level, down from an additional Template:Hp for each additional level, using the formula 1 + 0.5 * (Level - 1).

Trivia

• This version was previously removed from the Minecraft:launcher for some time, but was added back in September 2018.
