Biomes
New
| Minecraft:Bamboo jungle | Generate in large patches within regular jungles. Trees are much less dense in this variant than in the main jungle, comparable to the Minecraft:jungle edge, but boasts countless amounts of Minecraft:bamboo across its landscape. Minecraft:Podzol generates on the jungle floor in this biome. It is home to all jungle mobs, including Minecraft:pandas, which are exclusive to this biome. | Minecraft:Jungle pyramids | |
| Minecraft:Bamboo jungle hills | Similar to the bamboo jungle, though with steeper terrain just like the regular jungle hills variant. Large amounts of bamboo cover the landscape, and patches of podzol replace Minecraft:grass blocks. | Jungle pyramids |
Events
New
| Name | Trigger | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Minecraft:Raid | Triggered when a player with the Minecraft:Bad Omen effect enters a village. | During a raid a combination of pillagers, vindicators, evokers, witches, and ravagers spawn around a village. The combination depends on the level of the bad omen effect. A boss bar at the top of the screen shows the number of raid enemies still alive within the village. |
Effects
New
| Minecraft:Bad Omen | Given to the player when they kill the leader of an Minecraft:illager patrol or Minecraft:raid captain. | If the player enters a village while having the Bad Omen effect a Minecraft:raid is triggered. | |
| Minecraft:Hero of the Village | Given to the player after they have successfully defended the village from a raid. | If the player kills all of the illagers during the raid, the player receives the Hero of the Village effect. This effect lasts for 2 in-game days. |
Enchantments
New
| Minecraft:Multishot | I | Template:ItemSprite | None | Piercing | Fires three arrows while consuming one. If an arrow hits, the other two vanish. |
| Minecraft:Piercing | IV | Template:ItemSprite | None | Multishot | Allows arrows to pass through as many entities as the enchantment level. |
| Minecraft:Quick Charge | III | Template:ItemSprite | None | None | Speeds up the charging of the crossbow. |
Between snapshot 19w02a (13th for Java Edition 1.14) and 1.14.3 Pre-Release 1 (including both bounds) all different type Protection enchantments [Minecraft:Protection, Minecraft:Projectile Protection, Minecraft:Fire Protection, and Minecraft:Blast Protection] were not mutually exclusive. It means that any peace of armor could have them all at once (added with anvil). Obtained this way armor saves all its properties even after 1.14 Pre-Release 2 when Protection enchantments became mutually exclusive again.
Structures
New
| Minecraft:Pillager outpost | Can generate in any biome a village can generate in. | The structure contains one chest at the top. | Can have a combination of smaller structures surrounding it, these structures include a cage, targets, logs, and a tent. | ||
| Snowy Minecraft:villages | Can generate in Minecraft:snowy tundra biomes. | Many different buildings can include chests that contain loot based on the snowy tundra. | A variant of the village, designed specifically for Minecraft:snowy tundra biomes. It is the only place where Minecraft:lanterns can naturally generate. The structures are made up of various Minecraft:spruce wood and Minecraft:stripped logs. Some buildings resemble igloos and are constructed from either Minecraft:snow, Minecraft:ice or Minecraft:blue ice. |
