Template:Infobox item Copper boots are a variant of Minecraft:boots crafted from Minecraft:copper ingots. They are the sixth-highest Minecraft:tier of boots, having the same armor points as leather and Minecraft:golden boots but with higher durability.

Mob loot

Minecraft:Zombies, Minecraft:husks, Minecraft:skeletons, Minecraft:strays, Minecraft:bogged, and Minecraft:parched have a small chance to spawn wearing armor, which may include copper boots. There is a 8.5% chance (9.5% with Minecraft:Looting I, 10.5% with Looting II and 11.5% with Looting III) for the mob to drop the boots they're wearing upon death. The dropped boots are usually badly damaged, and may be Minecraft:enchanted with enchantment levels 5-19.

Usage

When worn, copper boots provide Template:Armor Minecraft:armor points.

Repairing

Two damaged pairs of copper boots can be combined through Minecraft:crafting or using the Minecraft:grindstone. The durability of the used copper boots are added together, plus an extra 5% durability. Both the crafting table and grindstone methods do not keep the enchantments of either boots.

Anvil repair

Template:Main Template:Repairing

Copper boots can be repaired in an Minecraft:anvil by adding units of the Minecraft:tiers' repair material, with each repair material restoring 25% the boots' maximum durability, rounded down. Two copper boots of the same tier can also be combined in an anvil. Both methods preserve the copper boots' Minecraft:enchantments.

Enchantments

Copper boots can receive the following Minecraft:enchantments:

Armor trimming

It is possible to upgrade armor with trims. This requires a Minecraft:smithing template, a boots, and an ingot or crystal (Minecraft:iron ingot, Minecraft:copper ingot, Minecraft:gold ingot, Minecraft:netherite ingot, Minecraft:emerald, Minecraft:redstone dust, Minecraft:lapis lazuli, Minecraft:amethyst shard, Minecraft:nether quartz, Minecraft:diamond, or Minecraft:resin brick).

These trims have no effect on the gameplay or strength of the armor.
