Template:For Template:Infobox biome The jungle is a lush Minecraft:biome with dense vegetation of Minecraft:jungle trees, Minecraft:oak trees, Minecraft:bamboo, and various smaller plants. Jungles generate in humid and warm areas, often next to Minecraft:forests, and their sparse and bamboo variants.
Generation
Jungles generate in semi-warm temperature areas and high humidity, bordering Minecraft:forests, Minecraft:plains, Minecraft:deserts, Minecraft:wooded badlands, Minecraft:birch forests and Minecraft:dark forests. Regular jungles are often separated from Minecraft:sparse jungles or Minecraft:bamboo jungles by Minecraft:rivers.
Jungles can generate in any type of terrain, bordering Minecraft:mangrove swamps and Minecraft:windswept savannas at high erosion, or Minecraft:mountain peaks in low erosion or far inland. Mountains in jungles always consist of Minecraft:stony peaks, often separated by forests on the slopes.
Minecraft:Lush caves are common underneath jungle biomes due to their high humidity.
Description
Jungles contain many types of vegetation densely packed together. Tall 2×2 Minecraft:jungle trees are common with many branches and Minecraft:vines, growing over 30 blocks in height. Small jungle trees with Minecraft:cocoa beans or the even smaller Minecraft:jungle bushes generate on the ground, together with Minecraft:oaks that are more commonly large.
The lush green grass is vegetated by Minecraft:ferns and vines everywhere. Minecraft:Melon patches are exclusive to jungle biomes, and they generate somewhat more often than Minecraft:pumpkin patches do in other biomes. Single Minecraft:bamboo plants are scattered in the jungle. Minecraft:Dandelions and Minecraft:poppies are twice as common as in most other biomes.
Minecraft:Parrots, Minecraft:ocelots, and Minecraft:pandas exclusively spawn in jungle biomes, together with warm Minecraft:animal variants.
Minecraft:Jungle pyramids may generate exclusively here. As these temples are partially made of Minecraft:mossy cobblestone and also covered in Minecraft:vines, they can prove hard to spot from a distance due to the density of the trees.
Template:IN, Minecraft:cod and Minecraft:salmon are the only fish which may be caught when Minecraft:fishing in jungles. Otherwise, Minecraft:bamboo and Minecraft:cocoa beansTemplate:Only can also be collected.
With Minecraft:Vibrant Visuals, jungles use a strong humid volumetric fog setting, which fades the distance in an orange tint. Jungles use warmish and color grading, which makes the biome look more humid and warm. The night sky is slightly brighter and moonlight colored more vibrant blue.
Template:IN, jungle biomes are significantly more resource-demanding to load and render compared to other biomes. Thus, players exploring in jungles may wish to turn down their graphics settings to avoid lag and FPS drops.<ref>Template:Bug</ref>
