Revision as of 11:09, 18 April 2026
Template:Distinguish Template:Infobox item A golden apple is a Minecraft:food item that bestows beneficial effects when consumed (Minecraft:Absorption and Minecraft:Regeneration) and is also used to cure a Minecraft:zombie villager under the Minecraft:Weakness effect into a normal Minecraft:villager.
Obtaining
Generated loot
On the base of ancient_city/city_center/city_center_2, a single golden apple is contained in the Minecraft:chest. Eating it at that location unlocks the Minecraft:piston doors to the Minecraft:redstone labs beneath.
Crafting
Usage
Food
To eat a golden apple, press and hold Template:Control while it is selected in the hotbar. It restores Template:Hunger points of hunger and 9.6 hunger saturation.
Unlike most foods, golden apples can be eaten even if the hunger bar is full.
The golden apple provides:
- Minecraft:Absorption I for 2 minutes (providing Template:Hp)
- Minecraft:Regeneration II (Template:Hp every 25 ticks, Template:Hp × 0.4 per second) for 5 seconds (long enough to heal Template:Hp)
Template:IN, eating multiple golden apples in a row causes the Absorption effect to stack, up to Template:Hp points of absorption health.<ref>Template:Bug</ref>
Curing zombie villagers
