History

This section is about the history of Gielinor given by the Dragonwilds:Lore Scraps. For the full history of the world, click Template:RSL.

Creation

Gielinor was created by the Template:RSL, and was later discovered by Dragonwilds:Guthix during the Dragonwilds:First Age. The Elder Gods prepared to sleep while their eggs consumed the anima throughout Gielinor. However, they discovered wild Dragonwilds:anima, which they preferred to vent out into Gielinor instead.Template:CiteVideo This caused an event known as the anima twist, a unique phenomena to Ashenfall that formed Dragonwilds:Wild Anima across the continent. This phenomena not only effected the land, but the creatures living within it. Afterwards, the Elder gods went to sleep. After Gielinor was created, the Template:RSL, a race of dragon-like creatures, discovered Gielinor after escaping Template:RSL, which involved wiping out all non-perfect creations by the Elder Gods. The Dragonkin were the first off-world creatures to visit Gielinor to settle down. However, Template:RSL, an ambitious Dragonkin, brought a curse to the entire race after his actions. This led to many of the Dragonkin going into hiding or experimenting to escape teh curse.

First Age

Centuries later, Dragonwilds:Guthix, the god of balance had found Gielinor after traveling through the cosmos. Admired by its beauty, he would invite races that he had deemed worthy to live within Gielinor. After shaping the plane and ensuring those he brought with him lived in harmonic balance, he traveled to continue to explore the world, taking some followers with him. Eventually, Ashenfall was found, and there Guthix had discovered the anima was different than the rest of the world, wild and unique that it would leak vents of elements and turn stones into magical rocks. Experimenting on these stones and the magic of the area, using the elder artefact, Template:RSL, Guthix had created Dragonwilds:Runes, a means for certain mortals to use magic, as most that he brought with him were unable to use magic on their own.

With this, Guthix would spread this across the world, but while he left his followers on Ashenfall, an event called the Dragonwilds:Schism had unfolded, humans would start killing the Dragonwilds:Amalgamated humans, believing them to be impure and wrong. Witnessing the horror, after returning to the continent, Guthix would gather those who did not take part of the murder, leaving behind the ones that have, and the Dragonwilds:Wild Knights themselves, who had swore an oath to protect the wild and the people of Ashenfall. Guthix would place a viel over the continent, in hope that it would remain hidden from the outside world. Eventually, a group of five Dragonkin (Dragonwilds:Avisk, Dragonwilds:Brakka, Dragonwilds:Lacrussa, Dragonwilds:Rasthin, and Dragonwilds:Viika), also known as the Dragonwilds:Cabal, moving to Ashenfall.Template:CiteVideo

Second to Sixth Age

During these period of time, more gods would arrived to Gielinor, as well as other races, such as Template:RSL, dwarves, goblins and more. During the Dragonwilds:Third Age the Template:RSL raged almost every corner of Gielinor, with a few continent safe, and refugees would scattered looking for a safe place, Ashenfall was one of them. Ashenfall would eventually have it's own conflict, the Dragonwilds:Human-Garou War and eventually the Dragonwilds:Dragon Rebellion. After the Dragon Rebellion, Ashenfall was ruled by the Dragons, with Dragonwilds:Kuldra as their queen. AShenfall has then remained hidden from the world, until the Dragonwilds:Sixth Age, where the veil finally disappeared, and Ashenfall became known to the world once more.
