Template:Relevant guide Mounts of Mayhem is a Minecraft:game drop released on December 9, 2025<ref name="mcnet-image">Template:Mcnet</ref> as Minecraft:Java Edition 1.21.11 and Minecraft:Bedrock Edition 1.21.130. Its theme is a combination of both "mounts" and "combat". It introduces Minecraft:spears, Minecraft:netherite horse armor, Minecraft:nautiluses, Minecraft:nautilus armor, Minecraft:parched, Minecraft:zombie nautiluses, Minecraft:camel husks, Minecraft:zombie horses spawning naturally, and the ability for most mounts to Minecraft:swim. It was announced at Minecraft:Minecraft LIVE – September 2025.

A new Minecraft:tiered Minecraft:weapon.
Has a longer Minecraft:attack range than the Minecraft:sword or any other weapon.
Includes two main attacks: jab and charge.
- The faster the Minecraft:player moves while charging, the more Minecraft:damage is done to an Minecraft:entity.
Can be crafted using 2 Minecraft:sticks and its corresponding tier Minecraft:item or by upgrading from diamond to netherite using a Minecraft:smithing table.

Enchantments

Template:InvSprite Minecraft:Lunge

Minecraft:Spear exclusive enchantment with 3 levels.
Only works with the jab attack.
- When doing a jab attack with Lunge, it propels the player horizontally in the view direction.
The view angle needs to be perfectly leveled horizontally to achieve maximum lunge distance.
Consumes Minecraft:saturation and hunger points at an amount dependent on the enchantment level, as well as 1 durability point.
- Can only be used if the player has 6 or more Minecraft:hunger points.

Effects

Freezes the entity's Minecraft:oxygen bar.
Applied when riding on a Minecraft:nautilus or Minecraft:zombie nautilus.

Mobs

A rare Minecraft:undead variant of the regular Minecraft:camel that spawns in Minecraft:deserts at night.
- File:Camel Husk Jockey JE1.png Spawns with two riders: a Minecraft:husk wielding an Minecraft:iron spear and a Minecraft:parched, forming a Minecraft:camel husk jockey.
  - The husk rider has a chance to drop a Minecraft:rabbit's foot when killed.
Counts as a Minecraft:hostile mob until Minecraft:ridden by a player, despawning like other hostile mobs.
Does not burn in Minecraft:sunlight.
Behaves similarly to a regular camel, except it cannot be bred.
Can be tempted and healed using a Minecraft:rabbit's foot.
Drops Minecraft:rotten flesh like any other zombie-type mob.

An Minecraft:aquatic Minecraft:neutral Minecraft:mount mob that spawns in Minecraft:oceans.
Can dash attack at any mob if provoked.
- Occasionally hunts Minecraft:pufferfish.
Immune to Minecraft:poison.
Can be tamed and bred with pufferfish and Minecraft:buckets of pufferfish, though it can be fed any type of Minecraft:fish or Minecraft:fish bucket afterward.
- File:Baby Nautilus Breathe JE2 BE2.gif Baby nautiluses have a unique model and sounds.
Rideable with a Minecraft:saddle, controlled with mouse/joystick movements, similar to the Minecraft:happy ghast.
Has a dash movement that can be used while riding it, similar to the Minecraft:camel.
When ridden, the rider is given the Minecraft:Breath of the Nautilus effect, freezing their Minecraft:oxygen bar.
When on land, the nautilus becomes dehydrated.
Has a 5% chance to drop a Minecraft:nautilus shell when killed.

A variant of the Minecraft:skeleton that spawns in Minecraft:deserts at night.
Does not burn in sunlight, similarly to the Minecraft:husk.
Shoots Minecraft:arrows of Weakness.
Immune to Minecraft:Weakness.
- Has a slower rate of fire compared to a normal skeleton, similar to the Minecraft:bogged.

A rare undead variant of the regular Minecraft:nautilus that spawns in oceans and Minecraft:dripstone caves.

Swims 10% faster than regular nautiluses when swimming.
Doesn't dehydrate when on land.
Burns in sunlight.
- Nautilus armor prevents the zombie nautilus from burning in sunlight.
Drops Minecraft:rotten flesh like any other zombie-type mob.
