Beta 1.16.100.54 is the fifth beta version for Minecraft:Bedrock Edition 1.16.100, released on September 3, 2020,<ref>Template:Cite</ref> which brought more parity from Template:El, Minecraft:RenderDragon to the Windows 10 port, and fixes bugs.

Chains

Minecraft:Nether gold ore

• Now uses the "nether" color on Minecraft:maps.

Minecraft:Soul Campfires

• Now deal double the damage that normal Minecraft:campfires deal.
• Now drop Minecraft:Soul Soil instead of Minecraft:Charcoal when mined.

Minecraft:Sweet Berry Bushes

• Now deal Minecraft:damage to Minecraft:mobs and Minecraft:players.

Items

Brown and Red Mushrooms

• Can now be placed and grown on both types of Minecraft:nylium.

Crimson and Warped Fungus

• Can now be placed on Minecraft:mycelium.
  • Will still only grow into a Minecraft:huge fungus on the respective Minecraft:nylium.

Lodestone Compasses

• Can now be Minecraft:enchanted with Minecraft:Curse of Vanishing.

Minecraft:Totem of Undying

• Now gives Minecraft:Fire Resistance I instead of II.

Mobs

Minecraft:Hoglins

• Now afraid of Minecraft:Respawn Anchors.
• Baby Hoglins now deal appropriate damage.
• Baby Hoglin now have drops after being killed by the player.

Minecraft:Iron Golems

• Now attacks Minecraft:Hoglins.

Minecraft:Piglins

• Now drop their inventory when "zombified".
• Can now equip Minecraft:Shields, Minecraft:Elytra, Minecraft:Turtle Shells, and various Minecraft:Mob Heads.

Minecraft:Piglin Brutes

• Now drops 20 experience points instead of 10.
• No longer spawns with enchanted golden axes.

Minecraft:Striders

• Now has the correct health of Template:Hp instead of Template:Hp to match Java Edition.

Minecraft:Strider Jockeys

• The zombified piglin riding a strider now spawns holding a Minecraft:warped fungus on a stick.

Minecraft:Zoglins

• Now take damage from Instant Health effect and heal from Instant Damage effect.
• Baby Zoglin now have drops after being killed by the Player.

World generation

Nether Biomes

• Minecraft:Soul Sand Valley now have ceilings covered with Soul Soil and Soul Sand.
• Minecraft:Basalt Delta now have Basalt ceilings.

Minecraft:Ruined portals

• Now can generate with 4–12 Minecraft:glistering melons instead of only one.

Gameplay

Minecraft:Bartering

• Various weights and item amounts have been changed to match the Template:El with the exception of Minecraft:spectral arrows.
• Minecraft:Blackstone, Minecraft:arrows, and Minecraft:water bottles can now be obtained through bartering.
• Netherite Hoe, Minecraft:Glowstone Dust and Minecraft:Magma Cream can no longer be obtained from bartering.

Minecraft:Enchanting

• Minecraft:Soul Speed are no longer obtainable from fishing, chest loot, or raids.

Minecraft:Map colors

• Map colors have been updated accordingly.
  • Warped stems, stripped warped stems, and warped planks now use the Template:Cd color instead of the Template:Cd color.
  • Warped hyphae and stripped warped hyphae now use the Template:Cd color instead of the Template:Cd color.
  • Warped nylium now uses the Template:Cd color instead of the Template:Cd color.
  • Warped fungi and twisting vines now use the Template:Cd color instead of the Template:Cd color.
  • Warped wart blocks now use the Template:Cd color instead of the Template:Cd color.
  • Crimson stems and stripped crimson stems now use the Template:Cd color instead of the Template:Cd color.

• Removed the "Particle Render Distance" options as it became redundant with Template:Cmd.

• Windows 10 now uses the new rendering engine Minecraft:RenderDragon.

• Removed the "mixer.com/minecraft" splash, as Mixer streaming services is no longer available.

Technical

• The Template:Cd has been changed to use data for its target block.
• Striders now correctly executes the Template:Cd.

• Fixed issue where the game could crash if player joined the game in a sleeping state. (Template:Bug)

• Created Template:Cmd command for managing active fog settings for players; these fog settings override fog driven from the client such as biome location of player camera
• Created a json file for each fog definition which contains the new Template:Cd, Template:Cd, Template:Cd, and Template:Cd settings for parity with previous data and hardcoded values
• Added child object "volumetric" which contains Template:Cd and Template:Cd objects. These hold the data values used for the volumetric fog.
