Minecraft:Diamond Boots

From SAS Gaming Wiki

Template:Infobox item Diamond boots are a variant of Minecraft:boots crafted from Minecraft:diamonds. They are the second-highest Minecraft:tier of boots, having higher armor points, armor toughness, durability, and Minecraft:enchantability than Minecraft:iron boots. They can be upgraded into Minecraft:netherite boots using a Minecraft:netherite ingot and Minecraft:netherite upgrade at a Minecraft:smithing table.

Mob loot

Minecraft:Zombies, Minecraft:husks, Minecraft:skeletons, Minecraft:strays, and Minecraft:bogged have an extremely small chance to spawn wearing diamond armor. There is a 8.5% chance (9.5% with Minecraft:Looting I, 10.5% with Looting II and 11.5% with Looting III) for the mob to drop the boots they're wearing upon death unless they are spawned from an Minecraft:ominous trial spawner. The dropped boots are usually badly damaged, and may be Minecraft:enchanted with enchantment levels 5-19.

Template:Main Template:Repairing

Boots can be repaired in an Minecraft:anvil by adding units of the Minecraft:tiers' repair material, with each repair material restoring 25% the boots' maximum durability, rounded down. Two boots of the same tier can also be combined in an anvil. Both methods preserve the boots' Minecraft:enchantments.

Armor trimming

It is possible to upgrade armor with trims. This requires a Minecraft:smithing template, a pair of boots, and an ingot or crystal (Minecraft:iron ingot, Minecraft:copper ingot, Minecraft:gold ingot, Minecraft:netherite ingot, Minecraft:emerald, Minecraft:redstone dust, Minecraft:lapis lazuli, Minecraft:amethyst shard, Minecraft:nether quartz, Minecraft:diamond, or Minecraft:resin brick).

These trims have no effect on the gameplay or strength of the armor.
