This guide is a simplified overview of all non-experimental changes in Minecraft:Trails & Tales update (Template:BE 1.20.0 to Bedrock Edition 1.20.41), which assumes at least some familiarity with Minecraft:The Wild Update (Bedrock Edition 1.19.x releases), excluding experimental features in these versions.

Minecraft:Ore distribution

Minecraft:Diamond ore is now generated more frequently in the Minecraft:deepslate layers of the Overworld. Added a new ore blob placement: Uniform distributed, from height -64 to -4, with blob size 8, generation frequency 2 and a 50% chance of discarding when exposed to air. Other existing diamond ore placements remain untouched.

Gameplay

Changed

Minecraft:Sneaking	Sneak under 1.5 blocks tall is now available without the "Short Sneaking/Short Sneaking and Crawling" experimental toggle. Players can now be forced into sneak state while flying.
Minecraft:Sound	Camera position is now used for audio listening and ambient sounds. Previously the player position and rotation were sometimes used for audio listening.
Minecraft:Rendering engine	Rendering of snow or rain is now based on camera position instead of player position.
