Template:Stub Template:See also These are characters that are described in text only in the Dragonwilds:journal, for Dragonwilds:items, areas, or Dragonwilds:lore scraps:

  • Dragonwilds:Agnes DeWithlington-Smithe: A self-proclaimed witch with no magical talent who filled her garden with poisonous herbs and flowers. Locals assumed she was a retired assassin, though she simply thought the plants were pretty.
  • Dragonwilds:Aidan: A Dragonwilds:Wild Knight who died while hunting a beast in a poisonous fog, sacrificing himself to save his brothers. After his death, his brothers bore his name in honour of his sacrifice.
  • Dragonwilds:Auburn Ocelot: A bandit leader who took amusement in using expensive bronze arrows to attack villagers. He was eventually killed by a rat carrying a plague, and his ashes were buried in an unmarked place to contain the infection.
  • Dragonwilds:Aydahn: A garou cub and trickster from a Moon Garou story, who entered a desert cave that claimed to be the resting sun. He emerged with black fur and gold eyes, having met the demon of embers.
  • Dragonwilds:Baralas: A dwarf of Keldagrim who insisted a bronze pickaxe could mine any ore. He was killed when the pick shattered against a particularly dense metal.
  • Dragonwilds:Brakka: A dragonkin architect and leader of the Cabal, the group of dragonkin who fled to Ashenfall. He sought to build a new dragonkin empire and constructed a great tower (now called Brakka's Folly) in Ghornfell. He was killed by Kuldra, who then gave his elemental earth power to Velgar.
  • Dragonwilds:Connakt: A Moon Garou warrior of great size who forged the first adamant greatsword and wielded it one-handed. He is said to have travelled beyond the Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands and beyond Ashenfall, settling elsewhere with a family. His greatsword, Sgian ìm, was buried with him.
  • Dragonwilds:Cynthia Valtis: A wizard who was known for transforming twigs into carrots to prevent a famine in Brynmoor. She also created a cool breeze during the summer heat. She is remembered for a fire magic experiment that launched her across the continent, and her body was never found.
  • Dragonwilds:Dahnu: A garou who was raised with love by the druid Gahl after her village was destroyed. She became a skilled hunter and eventually claimed a king's throne through reason and wit rather than combat. She ruled her people well until Velgar ended her reign.
  • Dragonwilds:Drorkar: A dwarf whose venture selling fried sardines in sealed metal tins with pull rings was rejected at great personal cost.
  • Dragonwilds:Edgar: A lumberjack who drank with wizards of the Dragonwilds:Wizard's Guild and devised the Choppertunity spell to shorten his workload. He was dismissed after casting it while drunk and demolishing his master's cabin.
  • Dragonwilds:Eileena: A human soldier and archer who fought a months-long sniping duel against the garou archer Dragonwilds:Krayth across the King's Pass. She stopped shooting after a stray arrow struck a garou child, and the pass fell to the garou.
  • Dragonwilds:Elias Oculus: A wizard and birdwatcher who created the Dragonwilds:Eye of Oculus spell so that he might see the world as birds do. He also published extensive studies of bird flight, and his memorial statue was placed in the branches of a tree.
  • Dragonwilds:Eric: A traveller mentioned in the torn journal page who was dragged into the tree line by a garou and was killed.
  • Dragonwilds:Falistrius: A wizard of Dragonwilds:Fellhollow who sought fame through forbidden research and found it instead in a duel. Local custom obliged her to answer an elven sorcerer's challenge on behalf of her wife, and when her staff shattered she channelled her magic through a hollow branch, originating Dragonwilds:splitbark equipment.
  • Dragonwilds:Flytr: A Moon Garou hunter who crafted the first yew longbow from a lightning-struck tree in the oases, breaking a taboo against using wood the Elidness had given. The bow's effectiveness was later taken as proof the taboo had been mistaken.
  • Dragonwilds:Frode: A Dragonwilds:Wild Knight who was so skilled with a bow that he never returned from a hunt empty-handed. He would hunt before every gathering of the Wild Knights so they could feast. One day he didn't return, and his body was found in five separate locations across Brynmoor. His arrows, marked with his symbol (an owl), were never found.
  • Dragonwilds:Gahl: A Dragonwilds:garou druid who lost everyone he knew in the wars. After finding a garou village in ruins and goblins threatening a garou pup, he killed the goblins and raised the child (Dahnu) with love, teaching her to hunt with a bow when she showed no talent for magic.
  • Dragonwilds:Glass Knife: A serial killer who murdered Amalgamated people. She was the wife of one of the village elders and a blacksmith. When caught, she received only a light sentence of community service, showing the prejudice against Amalgamated in Brynmoor.
  • Dragonwilds:Globfinger: A goblin who sheltered from a snowfall beside a Saradominist soldier during the alliance against the garou, and shared a meal and war stories with him.
  • Dragonwilds:Gregor Volrath: A defender of the Dowdun Mountains known as the Mountain Lion, who held back neighbouring villagers from the mithril crags with hammer and shield before the keep was fortified. His remains are interred in a statue within Dragonwilds:Dowdun Reach.
  • Dragonwilds:Hakanaten: A Moon Garou selected as pharaoh by drawing stones from a bag, who never wanted the position and pleased no one. After a revolt deposed him and destroyed the throne, he was cast into a Dragonwilds:kalphite hive, where he lived contentedly among the swarm.
  • Dragonwilds:Holtz: A villager of Dragonwilds:Emberwood and a master archer who refused to take up arms against another person, considering archery an art. His reanimated corpse did not share the principle.
  • Dragonwilds:Ignatius Wormwood: A failed apprentice wizard credited with the earliest enchanted blurite crossbow bolts. Challenged to a duel by a knight over a maiden, he knocked the knight flat with a single bolt through iron armour and was released, only to offend someone else.
  • Dragonwilds:Jenniva Milgrim: A woman who preferred sleep to waking life and rose as one of the first of the risen dead. Denied dreams, she buried herself with a shovel, becoming the only dead in Fellhollow to stay in the ground.
  • Dragonwilds:Jillian Varden: A wizard concerned solely with fire, who created the Ferocious Furnace spell in pursuit of ever hotter flames. Her laboratory was reduced to soot and her body was never recovered.
  • Dragonwilds:Karia: A garou whose envy of the iridescent colours of kalphite wings led the garou to attack the hives for their materials, at the cost of many lives.
  • Dragonwilds:Karibdos: A vast burrowing creature known as the devourer, which swallowed much of Dragonwilds:Malgo's expedition from beneath the sands. It was killed when the expedition returned in adamant armour, and its teeth shattered against them.
  • Dragonwilds:Kessel: An Amalgamated Dragonwilds:Wild Knight whose skin glowed like burning coals. She favoured a bronze greatsword in battle and could channel her fiery nature through it, setting it ablaze. Her attack on a young garou prince helped trigger the war between humans and garou.
  • Dragonwilds:Kethren: A wizard with a restless mind who created the Rocksplosion spell to help miners after finding traditional mining methods too boring.
  • Dragonwilds:King Rolthar: A mighty garou king who challenged the dragon Velgar to combat and was slain. Velgar respected his strength and returned his body to his people for a proper burial.
  • Dragonwilds:Kuldra: A multi-headed dragon queen known as the God-Eater. She was created through dragonkin experiments with Lougrim's assistance. She led the Dragon Rebellion against the dragonkin, killed and devoured Lougrim to become the new High Queen of the Garou, and still rules Ashenfall.
  • Dragonwilds:Lacrussa: A dragonkin scientist who discovered how to use rune essence to create the vault guardians. She also created enormous wyrms whose bones can be found in the Stormtouched Highlands, and the blue dragons left on Dragonwilds:Dowdun Reach. She commanded ice, was protective of her sibling, Viika, and broke them free from captivity, making herself an outcast among dragonkin.
  • Dragonwilds:Leander: The head chef of Bramblemead, known for his hearty stew that brought villagers together.
  • Dragonwilds:Lina Hesperian: One of the Dragonwilds:Amalgamated, who crafted the first enchanted iron bolts to let hunters kill cleanly and without suffering. She was murdered in an alley, and the bolts are said to carry the grudge of her final curse.
  • Dragonwilds:Lochlan: A water-Amalgamated jeweller who left a gemstone in the Dragonwilds:Wild Knights' gathering hall for successful hunters to touch, then crafted the accumulated enchantment into an archers' amulet.
  • Dragonwilds:Lougrim: A moon deity and the first High Queen of the Garou. Originally from a world of passive, contemplative beings, she fled with Guthix to escape that life. She later ascended to godhood, conquered the garou of Antumnos at the city of Magrawn, and brought them to Ashenfall. She was eventually killed and devoured by Kuldra.
  • Dragonwilds:Malgo: A dwarf who led an expedition into the deserts of Ashenfall and refined adamant into workable armour and blades in order to kill Dragonwilds:Karibdos. He and his team pressed deeper into the region afterwards and were never heard from again.
  • Dragonwilds:Mia Larsdottir: The first of the Amalgamated, who was murdered at age 21 with a bronze dagger, likely by her father, who was ashamed of bringing an Amalgamated into the world. Her body was left in the forest rather than given a proper funeral.
  • Dragonwilds:Moragrin: An assassin hired by Bramblemead's nobility to hunt the Dragonwilds:Nightingale. She won the duel between them and discovered, on unmasking her victim, that she had killed her own younger sister.
  • Dragonwilds:Mouldfinger: A goblin who crafted an excellent sword and was made chieftain against her wishes after others challenged her and were defeated by her blade.
  • Dragonwilds:Mucktooth: A goblin killed by a companion who wished to test whether the pen was mightier than the sword. It was not.
  • Dragonwilds:Niamh: An entomologist fascinated by the kalphites, who documented their hives and found notes indicating the insects had been brought to Ashenfall from another continent. She intended to enter a hive.
  • Dragonwilds:Noggin: A person who wore a sack over his face due to shame about his appearance. He was mocked by villagers and lived in the forests. He fell in love with a lost villager, but when they were to be wed and he removed his sack, his clothes fell empty to the floor, and the woman screamed. His face now appears on scarecrows across Ashenfall.
  • Dragonwilds:Olis: A Wild Knight who invented what are now called dwellberry crunchies, though he called them "Dwellberry splats" due to his poor cooking skills.
  • Dragonwilds:Otho: A bandit who called himself the bandit king and fletched his arrows only with stones he found interesting. His resulting nickname, the Magpie King, displeased him.
  • Dragonwilds:Pikenmix: A druid who broke with druidic pacifism and learned to hurl flame, then crafted the first splitbark helm from the tree she had walked into.
  • Dragonwilds:Rasthin: A dragonkin sorceress who discovered the power of Ashenfall's anima vents. She gained mastery over fire from the Anima Twist and created a staff of crystal and anima-infused iron to channel her magic. She granted Dragonwilds:Avisk the element of air with a device called Jas Moksha, and was particularly fond of decorating her robes with elaborate filigree made from precious metals and gemstones.
  • Dragonwilds:Sir Lear: A White Knight paladin who fought effectively against garou with an iron mace until he faced a dragon and discovered his weapon's ineffectiveness against dragon scales.
  • Dragonwilds:Shana: A Bramblemead villager who hated the cold and created the leggings of lightness. The enchantment kept her legs warm, though it had an overheating problem that eventually caused her house to catch fire.
  • Dragonwilds:Shatterfang: An alpha wolf who ignored the Wild Knights' attempts to lure his pack away from Bramblemead and attacked the village. He was eventually killed by a necromancer who locked his bones in place with magic while her companion struck from the shadows.
  • Dragonwilds:The Cairn: A large man who served as a guard for the alliance between Guthixians and Saradominists. He favoured a bronze mace and crushed anyone who defied the alliance, but refused to turn his weapon against the priests of Guthix when ordered to do so.
  • Dragonwilds:Thraag: A Moon Garou blacksmith excluded from his trade's figurine-painting gatherings on account of his smell, who arrived at one with an adamant warhammer and destroyed the figurines.
  • Dragonwilds:Tolkun: A dwarf who discovered mithril in the First Age, giving rise to the dwarven name for the ore, the Dwarven Welcome.
  • Dragonwilds:Ulv: A boy who lived outside the village and was ostracised for his silence and strange ways. He hunted with bone daggers until he was beaten by bandits and rescued by a Wild Knight, who taught him to use a bow. After killing a wolf that attacked Bramblemead, he asked only for the wolf's skull as a reward, which he fashioned into a mask.
  • Dragonwilds:Vemmeck: A Wild Knight commander who led a siege against a northern garou stronghold alongside Sir Lear.
  • Dragonwilds:Viika: A dragonkin seer whose ability to see through time made them a target for their kin. They had a compassionate nature and argued that the vault guardians had souls. They kept company with a white-scaled dragon hatchling that was later killed by Lacrussa for research.
